Prof. Dr. Philip Meissner

Philip Meissner holds the Chair of Strategic Management and Decision Making and is founder and director of the Center for Digital Competitiveness at ESCP Business School.

In addition to strategic decision-making processes, Professor Meissner focuses on the influence and impact of digital transformation in companies and on society.

Philip Meissner started his professional career in the banking sector. After earning his MBA and doctorate at the Leipzig Graduate School of Management (HHL), he helped establish the Center for Strategy and Scenario Planning, a joint research center of Roland Berger and HHL, in 2009.

Professor Meissner advises companies and governments on strategic decisions and new technologies.

He has been named one of the "Top 40 under 40" by "Capital" magazine in 2022 - as one of the country's outstanding talents from business, politics, science and society.

In his lectures, he combines the latest research findings from the fields of strategy, technology and psychology.

Professor Meissner knows how to convey complex technological and psychological topics in a practical and easy-to-understand way.

He lectures in German and English.
