Expert on Climate Change
Mojib Latif

Mojib Latif is Professor at the Leibniz Institute of Marine Sciences in Kiel. The meteorologist and oceanographer is one of the best known German climate scientists. His main areas of research are the variability of the climate - over years, decades and centuries - as well as man's influence on the climate. In 2000 he received the Max Planck Prize for "Public Science" and in 2004 the Environment Media Award from German Environmental Aid (Deutsche Umwelthilfe) for his work and commitment.

Dr. Latif was editor of the Monthly Weather Review and the Journal of Climate. He is a member of the German and the American Meteorology Society and a member of the Academy of Science Hamburg. He frequently writes for most prestigious scientific journals and is author and co-author of more than 100 scientific publications.

With an unprecedented amount of accurate research behind him Mojib Latif is ideally qualified to talk in great detail about the political, economical and social implications of climate change. He offers valuable advise to organisations on exactly how they can apply cost effective solutions to minimise their carbon emissions whilst remaining competitive.
