Carsten Kraus – From the classroom to market leader
His story begins in his school days: as a student, he teaches computer science and is given time off school to set up his first company. When Atari bought his first commercial product, they didn't know that the new programming language had been developed in a teenager's bedroom. It was shipped with a total of 700,000 Atari computers and ran 70 times faster than before.

At just 16 years of age, Carsten Kraus founded his first company (Omikron Data Quality / Omikron Data Solutions GmbH – since 1988). In 2001, he sold his most successful technology (FACT-Finder, European market leader for search in large online shops). In the years that followed, he developed numerous innovations.

To date, he has filed over 25 patents, founded 12 companies and invested in 18 start-ups. He has spoken at numerous prestigious events and, in more than 30 years as an AI expert, has correctly predicted more than one development in the field of AI.
