Prof. Dr. Ulrich Reinhardt

Prof. Dr. Ulrich Reinhardt is a futurologist and Scientific Director of the Foundation for Future Studies (British American Tobacco Initiative). He also holds a professorship for Empirical Futures Research at the Department of Economics at the West Coast University of Applied Sciences in Heide.
In addition, he is the initiator and source of ideas for a large number of research projects such as "Germany's Next Years" in cooperation with the Federal Chancellery, the "Bayreuth Future Symposium" or pan-European projects such as "Europeans' Hopes for the Future" and the Delphi Dialogues of the Foundation for Future Studies or pan-European projects such as Europeans' Hopes for the Future. Prof. Reinhardt is a member of various advisory groups such as the Future Council of the State of Schleswig-Holstein, co-editor of the international journal "European Journal of Futures Research" and sits on committees such as the State Board of Trustees of the "Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft" or the Board of Trustees of the EBC University.
He is a sought-after expert for various TV, radio and print partners, not least because of his weekly column "How Germany ticks". Professor Reinhardt offers exciting insights into social change, the future of the world of work, leisure, consumer and tourism behavior and European research, among other things.
